We will be in the large marquee at the show, with a display about some of the Extraordinary Women of the parish. Come and read their stories and come and talk to us!
Take the opportunity to look at all the exhibits too - or why not enter a class yourself? Details available locally or download a schedule here
Additionally, other heritage organisations in Halton have been invited to submit the story of just one Extraordinary Woman. These will all be on display at the show and you will have the opportunity to vote for your favourite. The 'winner' will have a Blue Plaque erected in an appropriate place in the borough.

We have been researching the stories of some of the extraordinary women of the parish as part of our work for Heritage Open Days. Our stories span 4 centuries and include a convict transported to Australia, a lady 'who went about doing good', another who never really existed, the WI in WW2 and some ladies who continue to do extraordinary things today.
We will be telling you about them all on Thursday September 13. Come and join us for a cup of tea at 7pm, the talk will begin promptly at 7.30pm. There will be no charge for this event.
Sat15Sep20182:00 pmAll Saints', Daresbury car park
Why not join us on Saturday afternoon for a short walk (with a lot of talking, I guess!) around Daresbury and Keckwick. In days gone by, the township of Keckwick was far more important than any of the other villages in the parish. We will have all sorts of snippets of information for you.
We won't walk very far, but will be walking up and down a bit and on Keckwick Hill, so please wear appropriate footwear. I'm sorry but it won't really be suitable for buggies or wheelchairs.
This event is part of Heritage Open Days and will be free of charge. Meet in the church car park at 2pm
