Lewis Carroll was born at Daresbury Parsonage 184 years ago today. He was the son of Charles and Frances Dodgson, and was baptised Charles Lutwidge at Daresbury church where his father was the vicar.
The walk across the fields from Daresbury to the Birthplace Site is very wet just now, so wear waterproof boots, or stick to the lanes, if you’re planning on making a visit!
