Thanks to everyone who came to our WW2 workshop last night. Geoff brought lots of photos, posters etc for us to see and he and Peter had stories to tell. We’ve found lists of the men who served in the war – thanks to the ‘welcome home’ parties recorded in the parish magazine! Mike showed us the research that has been done into some of the Preston Brook soldiers. So, now we’ll be able to put together a really informative display for the Remembrance Sunday weekend.
