The mysterious Mr Orrett served Daresbury for 2 years following the death of William Smith in 1732. To date, we know very little of him other then he signed the registers!
The signature below if from the Bishops Transcripts of marriages, and in longhand reads: per Reverend Dominus Orrett. Dominus isn’t his name, it’s a courtesy title commonly seen in ecclesiastical records of the time
